Jessica and Michael’s Northern Michigan Wedding had a little bit of everything all wrapped into one. Jessica and Michael were married at the Homestead Resort, in Glen Arbor, Michigan. The Homestead Resort is situated in the heart of Sleeping Bear Dunes on Lake Michigan. Their wedding venue, Bay Mountain, has sweeping views of Lake Michigan, the Manitou Islands and Sleeping Bear Dunes. Just below Bay Mountain, there are gorgeous stands of tall trees, rivers, streams and beaches and golf courses. There is a little bit of everything here for visitors to enjoy, and the perfect Northern Michigan Wedding Destination.
Jessica and Michael brought their family and friends here to celebrate their wedding. The morning started out relaxed and with lots of laughter and smiles. Jessica created a morning full of touching moments, ranging from sentimental gifts for her mother and mother-in-law, to spending a few moments with her 2 month old niece, to enjoying a few stolen moments away from the day with Michael during their first look.
As Jessica and her father walked down the aisle to Michael, you saw smiles and tears from everyone as these two pledged to spend their lives together as a married couple. After the beautiful ceremony, everyone enjoyed the evening with toasts, drinks, food, and dance. Jessica and Michael and I snuck out to enjoy a few quiet moments on the beach at sunset. We didn’t think there was going to be much of a sunset, but we were surprised as the sun peeked down under the cloud coverage and gave a show. It was the perfect ending to and incredible day for these two.
Jessica and Michael, congratulations on your marriage. I had an incredible time getting to know the two of you over the last year, and it was a joy to meet and spend the day with all of your family and friends. Much love and appreciation. Rayan
