An Unforgettable Wedding Day at The Peninsula Room

This particular wedding was one of those rare days that just felt special from beginning to end. The couple’s joy was infectious, the energy was high, and the entire day was wrapped in a sense of love and anticipation.

Before the ceremony, we took a short trip to the Old Mission Peninsula Lighthouse for a breathtaking portrait session. It was the perfect way to slow down, breathe in the beauty of the lake, and capture the couple in one of Michigan’s most beautiful locations.

The lighthouse’s historic charm, the soft breeze off the water, and the couple’s natural connection made for images that were not only stunning but deeply meaningful. This time together also gave the couple a moment of calm before the big celebration kicked off.

Wedding Destination Celebration

These two families made the trip to Traverse City to celebrate Kirsten and Rafa’s wedding day on the Old Mission Peninsula. Rafa’s family and friends came from Puerto Rico, and Kirsten’s family from here in the states. As everyone met for the day, it was as if you were with people you had known for years. The love and support and openness was palpable and it made the energy of the day so incredibly beautiful.

While there were a few unexpected changes threw the timeline off, Kirsten and Rafa flowed with everything and simply remained focused on what mattered most: enjoying their day. They stay relaxed and fully present.

A Heartfelt Ceremony and an Unforgettable Dance Party

The Peninsula Room provided an intimate and warm setting for the ceremony. You could feel the love radiating from everyone. The atmosphere was filled with genuine connection.

As the evening unfolded, guests were treated to delicious food, heartfelt toasts, and a reception that was full of dancing and bubbles. The night ended with an epic dance party that brought everyone—young and old—to the dance floor. The energy was electric, the laughter non-stop, and the love undeniable.
