Engagement photo on Frankfort Pier in front of lighthouse

When an available lady working in the hospital happens to encounter an available Traverse City Policeman that comes into the hospital occasionally, you know that something is bound to happen!  And that is exactly what happened with Annie and Sam.  Annie, with her beautiful gypsy soul, was working in the hospital when she met Sam. Annie had no intention of dating anyone. She was determined to find her path of independence.  Sam had just moved to Traverse City from Grand Rapids and was looking to build a home and start settling down with his life. After seeing each other a few times, Sam’s energy shinned through and won Annie over in no time.

This year, on a beautiful Spring day, Annie and Sam were hiking the Whale Back trail in Leelanau County with their dogs.  Sam proposed to Annie and she said yes!

For Sam and Annie’s engagement photos, they drove down to Frankfort, Michigan on a gorgeous fall evening that was blessed with sun, calm waters and warm weather! We started the evening at the Elberta Public Beach with gorgeous golden light, a lot of dune grass and some incredibly beautiful blue water and ended with a beautiful sunset on the Frankfort Pier, followed by a full moon over Betsie Bay.

Annie and Sam, it was so wonderful getting to know the two of you better.  I cannot wait until your wedding next year at the always beautiful BlueBridge Events Centre!
