Joy and Steven met a little over a year ago, and within a few weeks, they were planning their first trip together to Peru.  In no time, they knew they were meant to be together.  And when you meet them, you cannot help but smile as you see the love, joy and happiness that is clearly evident between them.

They began their wedding day by participating in the M22 Challenge:  a run, bike and paddle race through the gorgeous Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park.  They followed it up with a relaxing morning, getting ready at the Homestead Resort, in Glen Arbor.

The wedding was on the shore of Lake Michigan in the Village of Empire, overlooking Sleeping Bear Dunes.  It was beautiful, intimate, and completely filled with love.

Joy and Steven, I am so grateful our paths crossed and I was able to photograph you and your family and friends.  It was an honor to be able to witness your wedding and to get to know the two of you better.  Best wishes for you as you start your life together as husband and wife!
