Sunset Wedding on West Grand Traverse Bay

Theresa and Michael grew up in the Detroit, Michigan area, and went to the same school. They met during their Middle School Graduation because their last names fell next to each other in alphabetical order. In high school, they because friends and spent the years with
their lockers next to each other. But it wasn’t until college that they decided to try dating. Well, the dating worked! About 9 years later, on a trip to Alaska, Michael found the perfect glacier and proposed. Theresa, of course, said yes!

Michael’s parents have a home on Old Mission Peninsula, and Theresa and Michael have been coming here for years. When they were up at the Jolly pumpkin last summer, they saw a wedding at the Peninsula Room. They immediately knew this was the location for their wedding.

The Peninsula Room is a gorgeous Northern Michigan Wedding Venue that sits on the shore of West Bay in Traverse City. It is surrounded by the water, vineyards and beautiful trees and is a little slice of heaven and perfect location for a Destination Wedding. They planned their wedding in the fall and surrounded themselves with cozy couches under the fall trees, beautiful fall florals from Bloom Floral, and gorgeous Tulle and silks and cloths to create a romantic and relaxed atmosphere to celebrate their marriage.

Congratulations Theresa and Michael. It was so amazing getting to know you over the past year and be able to witness and capture such a beautiful day for the two of you. I can’t wait to see where you as you move forward as husband and wife. Much love and appreciation. Rayan
