A FALL PENINSULA ROOM WEDDING

The Old Mission Peninsula is truly a gem of a destination location located in Northern Michigan, just outside of downtown Traverse City. The Peninsula is flanked by two gorgeously turquoise blue bays that are a part of Lake Michigan. This creates a perfect environment to grow grapes and cherries and apples. As a result, the entire peninsula and its rolling hills are filled with Vineyards and orchards and views of the bays. It is the perfect location for a destination wedding.
Alyssa and Paul were married here on a brisk fall day in September. The day started with a little drizzle up in Elk Rapids at Alyssa’s family home. It was the perfect start to the day. A quiet morning with Alyssa’s sister, niece and mom and some occasional family and friends popping in to say hello.
After everyone was ready, we headed to their wedding venue, the beautiful Peninsula Room. The Peninsula Room is part of the Mission Table Restaurant and Jolly Pumpkin Restaurant. Both are surrounded by beautiful Vineyards. The front yard is grassy and filled with tall, old trees and an incredible view of West Grand Traverse Bay.
Alyssa and Paul were married on the front lawn. As Alyssa walked towards Paul, you could see the tears of love and joy in his eyes. They pledged to love one another in front of family and friends. And the even was followed with a lovely celebration next to the vineyard and bay, with some serious dancing going on!
Congratulations on your. marriage Alyssa and Paul! I had such an incredible time getting to know the two of you and capturing your engagement and incredible wedding day. I wish you the best as you move through life together as husband and wife. Much love and appreciation, Rayan.
