When Amy and Erick asked me it I would be interested in hiking out to the top of a dune overlooking sleeping bear dunes for their engagement pictures, I knew it would going to be fun!  Amy and Erick are simply a lovely couple.  You can see their love and excitement for living their life together…beginning with Erick’s plan for engagement.  He planned for a year, hoping to ask Amy to marry him during a show of the northern lights.  Well, the northern lights did not cooperate, so plan B emerged, which was just as romantic and wonderful.

So, we met near Traverse City and made the mad dash out to the dune for pictures as the sun started to drop, and rushed back inland and over to the beach for a few night shots!  Congratulations on your engagement Amy and Erick.  It was wonderful to meet you and spend an evening with you for your pictures!  ~Rayan
