Frankfort Michigan Engagement Proposal

This August, KJ brought Kelsey up to Frankfort, Michigan, for a weekend get away.  Frankfort is a small little town on the southern end of Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes.  There are beautiful beaches, sand dunes, lighthouses, and great breweries and restaurants to explore.  It is also a jumping point for exploring the Traverse City area and all that is available in Northern Michigan.

They came up to spend a few days in Frankfort, before heading into Traverse City, taking in the views and having a good dinner at the StormCloud Restaurant.  Just before dinner, around sunset time, KJ thought it would be a great time to take a walk on the beach.  As they walked out on the beach, overlooking the Frankfort Lighthouse, KJ got down on his knee and proposed.  And Kelsey said Yes!

We wandered a bit for a few photos after the proposal, and ended the night taking in the sunset on the shores of Lake Michigan.  Congratulations KJ and Kelsey!  It was so much fun hiding on the porch waiting to capture your moment, and to wander the beach with the two of you for a little bit after.
