Jeff and Margie met freshman year at Miami University in Ohio. They were friends for quite awhile, including during the 4 years they lived in Chicago after graduating from university. Eventually, Jeff was transferred to St. Louis for work and Margie moved home to Kansas City. When Jeff was in Kansas City for work, he called Margie and asked about meeting for drinks. They both had an incredible time, and this evening really showed how much they cared for each other…beyond friendship. Or as Margie says….she didn’t realize how cute Jeff was until this evening. Two years later, Jeff proposed and they began planning their wedding in Frankfort, Michigan.
Surrounded by her family and friends, and in her parent’s beautiful home surrounded by trees, Margie got dressed. A lot of laughter, a few tears, and immense excitement filled the room. The joy you saw on her face, and heard, when she “popped” into her wedding dress said it all.
The weather was perfect, warm and sunny, as their said their vows overlooking Lake Michigan at the Harbor Lights Resort. Celebration continued at the Oliver Art Center. The entire day was filled with joy and excitement as Jeff and Margie celebrated their marriage. Congratulations Jeff and Margie! I wish you the best and hopefully will see you next summer on a visit to Frankfort!
